We offer exciting roles for volunteers to contribute to our mission, develop valuable skills, and make a positive impact. All our positions are remote. There is no need to travel. 7C Innovation Lab - High School Mentors

7C Innovation Lab – High School Mentors

Are you a high school student who thinks outside the box? Do you want to build more than just code? We are looking for Innovation Mentors to join the 7C Innovation Lab—a unique social innovation intensive where technology is just the tool, and human leadership is the mission.

As a Mentor, you won’t just be a “volunteer.” You will be a Student Lead, collaborating with Junior Partners (Gr. 7 to 8) to solve real-world problems. You will master the 7C Core Skills – Curiosity, Creativity, Courage, Compassion, Communication, Collaboration, and Confidence—and prove that you have the human edge that AI can’t replace.

The Role: Master the Mind, Not the Machine

Lead the Lab: Guide a “squad” of junior students through human-centric interviews and technical prototyping.
Master & Teach: Rapidly learn new technologies (our “pencils”) and teach them to your team.
Innovate: Help your squad turn “What if?” scenarios into physical reality.
Impact: Facilitate social interactions that bridge the gap between middle school curiosity and high school leadership.

Commitment & Requirements

We are looking for dedicated leaders who can commit to the full journey:

Training Week: June 29 – July 3 ( 9 am to 4 pm – intensive) In-Person
Camp Weeks: July 6 – July 17 ( 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday–Friday) In-Person
Holiday Note: We are off on Wednesday, July 1.
Interviews: Selected candidates will be invited to an online first interview and in-person second interview
Skills: It is a plus if you already know some technical, software skills or 3D Printing
Commitments: Candidates must be able to attend all days. If not, please do not apply.
Police Check: Candidates 18+ (as of June 29, 2026) must submit a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) by June 29. Please note: 10X Hub cannot reimburse the VSC fee.
